I&L DAY IN ITALY

On 27th November 2015 our article about Involve Me and I Learn Day, the project and our visit to Iceland was published on the Slovenian portal SLOMEDIA.IT; the same article was published by Primorski dnevnik, the only Slovenian daily in Italy, on 10th January 2016.

Our Involve Me & I Learn Day was a great day at Prešeren.

Boris, Alja and Barbara with a "little help of their friends" have arranged a very lively multimedia exhibition in the entrance hall, so that everybody in the school can visit it individually or in class groups. You are kindly invited to see it.

IN THE PRESS OF TRIESTE

Our meeting at Liceo Scientifico France Preseren appeared collected in the press of Trieste. Many thanks to our colleague Barbara and his team for their welcome.

THE ITALIAN MINISTER OF EDUCATION KNOWS OUR PROJECT

Our Italian colleagues from the Liceo Scientifico France Preseren received recently a very special visit of the Minister of Education, University and Research: Onorevole Stefania Giannini, who was making a visit to the Trieste University and two centers, one Slovenian and another Italian. Next to it, also attended political authorities and two senators.

For this occasion, students prepared a presentation showing the most important extracurricular activities of the center, as did other Slovenian schools, and the Director gave a brief history of Slovenian schools in Italy. Three students began talking about the projects that the Center has participated, both past and present, within the Comenius and Socrates programmes, and of course showed the main idea of our project Involve me and I learn, as well as a summary of the last two, including Believing in Humanity, which began collaboration with the IES Mediterráneo.

Our colleague Barbara Lapornik says "was a very brief presentation, but which emphasized our common European membership, our beliefs, goals and the way ahead in our current project".

I&L AS A MODEL FOR TRAINING

Our colleague Barbara Lapornik presented our project Involme me & I Learn as a model for teaching in a course Erasmus+ held in Udine to 50 teachers from other Italian schools.
